This position is for SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise(ASE). ASE is a high-performance relational database management system for mission-critical, data-intensive environments. It ensures highest operational efficiency and throughput on a broad range of platforms.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
1.Uses established software engineering concepts, principles and processes to achieve committed results.
2.Implements, executes and evaluates unit tests for product components.
3.Performs simple functional test development from test specifications.
4.Performs test maintenance for assigned features.
5.Performs test execution, analysis and reporting for assigned features.
6.Maintains defect tracking for assigned features.
7.Works to assigned schedules and communicates issues that impede progress.
8.Performs other related duties as assigned.
9.Maintains test environments.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 
1.Able to self-organize own work
2.Has Analytic thinking and problem solving skills
3.University degree or equivalent
4.Good knowledge and experience in Agile development
5.Good knowledge on RDBS
6.Good understanding of testing methodologies
7.Fluent English, both written and oral
8.Strong customer and quality focus 
9.Decision making and judgment 
10.Willingness to be cross-functional
11.Self motivator 
12.Fast learner 

Beneficial Skills to have:
1.Experience with SAP Sybase ASE
2.Experience with Unix, Shell Script, TCL, VI
