The Fedora QA team is responsible for the quality of the Fedora project. In order to meet this goal, the team must build and maintain a community of transparent collaboration, identify and remove of barriers to participation, and develop/maintain testing tools and processes.

The team is looking for qualified individuals who can improve Fedora by participation in Fedora testing and building an automated Fedora installer test suite. In addition to working with some of the latest open-source software and technology, the role will offer experience with python programming, virtualization using KVM/libvirt, the Fedora system installation process and test automation.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Active participation in the Fedora community
* Create and maintain Test Plan
* Create and maintain Test Cases
* Involve in Test Cases Review within the Team
* Organize test days
* Participate in community test runs, preparing test scripts, providing and diagnosing test results
* Bug reporting and verifications
* Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:
* Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
* Open-source community involvement
* Attention to detail
* Can work under high pressure and can quickly adapt to different work
* Strong background in Linux Operating Systems
* Working knowledge of python and bash is a plus
* Understanding of quality assurance and software testing methodology is a plus
* Self-motivated and disciplined working in a geographically distributed team
* Motivated, positive attitude and an interest in making a difference
* Able to work 3+ working days per week for 6 months or longer
