Shanghai: History TA
Requirement: History Major student is preferred; Has taken World History & European History courses.

Beijing: History TA; Philosophy TA
Requirement (History): History Major student is preferred; Has taken World History & European History & American History & Chinese History courses.
Requirement (Philosophy): Philosophy Major student is a must; Graduate student is preferred; Has experiences of being a TA such as help professors grading papers and assignments.

Guangzhou: Art History TA; Music TA; Philosophy TA
Requirement (Philosophy): Philosophy Major student is a must; Graduate student is preferred; Has experiences of being a TA such as help professors grading papers and assignments.
Requirement (Art History): Art Major student is preferred; Has taken Western Art History courses include: in "Ancient and Medieval Art" and "Renaissance to Modern Art".
Requirement (Music): Music Major student is preferred; Has taken Music theories courses.

Responsibilities:
-Assist professors with grading homework, papers and exams
-Each TA will be assigned to 1 professor and 2 courses which he/she teaches. (Some TA may be assigned 1 or 3 courses depending on the actual enrollment of the courses. For most courses, each class size is going to be around 30 to 40 students.)
-Attend lectures and help prepare course materials at the request of professors
-Hold 1 hour of office hours per course each day. (Monday to Thursday every week, plus Friday on the third and sixth week)
-Help professors with other course-related work including printing lecture notes, photocopying, etc.

Qualifications:
-Current undergraduate or recent graduate from a North American university or college are preferred
-Strong academic background in relevant subjects
-High proficiency in English speaking, excellent communication skills
-Great sense of responsibility
-Previous experience as teaching assistant is a plus
-Student with a major in the subject is a plus

Job Duration: June 25, 2012 - Aug 10, 2012

Compensation:
1 Undergraduates: 150 RMB / work day, paid at the end of the 3rd week and last week.
2 Graduates: 200 RMB / work day, paid at the end of the 3rd week and last week.
