Job Description
Are you interested in being part of a fast paced technology company with the largest e-commerce platform in the world, and deep diving into the heart of its Product Catalog systems and processes?  Amazon.com, a Fortune 500 company based in Seattle, Washington, is the global leader in e-commerce.  Project Assistant (Data Quality specialist) is a junior role, but will be responsible to support the information optimization projects by working with retail product managers, technical account managers, and software development teams.   
This is currently a contract/intern position, but with good possibility for extension.    

The Project Assistant (Data Quality Specialist) for Amazon Information Optimization in Beijing, China will:
-Handle the day-to-day volumes of the assigned tasks using Amazon catalogue related tools
-Support software development teams, such as creating golden sets and conducting data validation
-Audit catalogue data in Amazon Global Catalogue for defects
-Observe patterns of data issues, and communicate those patterns to the supervisors
-Prepare data reports for management and project team
-Assist on other tasks, such as publishing data reports and status on Wikipedia pages

Basic Qualifications
-Fluency in English, both written and verbal
-Strong business communication skills
-Quick learning capability
-MS Excel proficiency
-Highly hands-on attitude and detail-oriented
-At least 3 months continuous availability
-Basic/Average English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor degree or college diploma
-6 months or long-term availability
-Familiar to work with data and prepare basic reports
-Work experience in a technology company
