Description: Runtime performance is critical for the EDA tools, as the complexity of chip designs is constantly increasing. As a leading EDA vendor, we are exploring every opportunity to deliver the best performance. In this role, the individual will be working with our leading product team, analyze the performance of timing engine in various hardware/software configurations and in various levels, especially on the NUMA platform. The individual will conduct research in computation model, synchronization mechanism, memory/cache behavior, etc. And the results will be applied to the product and make real impact to the industry. Requirements: 1.Knowledge of modern computer architectures 2.Knowledge of parallel computation 3.Strong programming skills in C 4.Experience with performance tuning/profiling is a plus 5.Excellent communication skills
