JOB TITLE: Test Intern 测试实习生
REPORT TO: Product Development Manager
DEPT.: FCAL

1. GENERAL SUMMARY:
Plan and perform test engineering assignments of a broad nature including responsibility for ensuring technical performance of a major product or a complete product line. Analyze product design and functional characteristics in relation to specifications and manufacturability. Direct or perform software testing for initial or maintenance releases. An ability of employing the right tools in a specific problem justification. 

2. PRIMARY FUNCTION/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Review and evaluate new product designs or changes in existing designs; determine calibration specifications, functional and/or environmental test requirements and need for test equipment and facilities. May generate test plans.
b. Prepare calibration and test procedures and related documentation.
c. Direct or prepare calibration and test procedures and related documentation.
d. Develop software for system testing of appropriate testing units.
e. Direct or perform software testing.
f. Monitor progress of tests for validity of test conditions, means of measurement and performance of component or unit in relation to specifications.
g. Direct or review test results; take corrective action as necessary.
h. Direct or perform analysis of component failures; recommend and/or implement approved alternate components or design changes.

3. JOB COMPLEXITY:
Determine own practices and procedures and contribute to the development of new concepts. Engage in new and varied work situations of high complexity. Appreciable latitude for un-reviewed actions and decisions. Receive minimal direction and guidance on technical objectives and unusual problems. Work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives. Responsible for coordinating all phases of project responsibility. 

4. SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:
Wide application of principles, theories and concepts of functional area. Working knowledge of related disciplines and knowledge of computer programming methods. Requires originality and independent judgment and evaluation. SPC statistics skills are required.

5. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
a. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Precision Measurement or Electromechanical engineering.
b. Having electrical knowledge is preferred. 

6. Others:
Preferred 4 – 5 days a week. Duration: 2 – 3 months.
