IPCBU Software/QA Engineer Intern:
Join Cisco’s enterprise voice team as a strong, contributing Development Test Engineer focused on developing the industry’s best IP Phones. Candidates must have a proven track record in software test methodology, including: System/Next-Node Test, Performance test, Stress/duration test, VoIP feature interaction test, protocol test and regression automation. Candidate must have strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities include the following:
- Write automation script with good quality to improve the automation coverage of phone features.
- Perform regressions, including the design and implementation of automated/unattended regression suites
- Support the automation team by debugging issues; isolating root cause of issues and fix script issues
- Maintain the script and test tool

Specific Job skills:
* Work full time at least three days per week from Monday to Friday and work at least six months
* Strong programming skills in one of the following language: Tcl/Perl/Python/Bash
* Excellent analytical and debugging skill
* Experience with a set of the following protocols from a QA/certification point of view: DHCP, DNS, TFTP, HTTPS, NAT, UDP/TCP/IP
* Broad knowledge of IP network protocols and network design including Cisco router and switch configuration,CCNA preferred
* Familiar with development under Unix/Linux would be an added advantage
* Experiences in Script development would be an added advantage
