SUMMARY:
The China PR Officer will support Thomson Reuters various businesses in China, mainly Financial & Risk and corporate communication. The Internship offers a great opportunity for candidates to work as a PR professional in a truly global environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Media Monitoring, leverage on agency service and internet to search and report on weekly basis relevant media coverage / story of the company in Asia Pacific region; alert of negative mentions and topics;
2. Help identify suitable media/publications channels for various PR campaigns.
3. Assist line manager to arrange and execute media interviews, press conferences, media round tables, and other communication activities in China.
4. Help translate and polish press release, media advisory, campaign emails and other external communication documents for various PR activities.
5. Manage agencies for PR and media monitoring services; ensure the best quality of agency work.
6. Other tasks given by line manager

The ideal candidate will work closely with China PR manager as well as Asia Pacific PR team, and have the opportunity to work with the global PR team, to support varying projects wherever the businesses warrant.  The candidate will need to be able to think and act proactively and quickly and collaborate effectively with the Asia PR team.

REQUIREMENTS:
1、Able to work 3 days per week for at least 8 to 10 month
2、University students, major in Journalism or Communications a plus
3、Excellent command of verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
4、Proficient in office software especially PPT, WORD, EXCEL
5、Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
6、Comfortable to handle multi-tasks in fast-pace environment
7、A proactive nature and hands-on approach
8、Enjoy work in a real-time, global environment
9、Hands-on experience in organizing events preferred
10、Journalism working experience in local financial publications or PR dept/agency work experience a big plus
