Job Description: 
ARM China is looking for a highly skilled and motivated software interns to help extend an existing OpenCL driver. Most of the work will be on the OpenCL runtime, but parts of OpenCL compiler and OpenCL BIFL work can also be expected.

The interns are expected to be working as part of an existing development team, not on a separately specified project.

Essential Skills & Experience: 
1、Excellent programming skills in C/C++, experience on large C/C++ software project will be plus
2、Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures
3、Have a good knowledge of the OpenCL programming model
4、Developing for linux or android operating systems
5、Ability to work in a team as well as alone
6、Effective verbal and written communication skills

Desired skills:
1、Experience in implementing (parts of) an OpenCL driver
2、Good understanding of CPU and/or GPU micro-architecture
3、Experience in LLVM/Clang
4、Experience in parallelisation and vectorization
5、Working effectively in extended teams across groups, sites and countries
6、Exposure to large-scale software build, integration and test environments

Education & qualification: 
You will need a good degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or an alternative with relevant experience.

Length of internship: 
Upto the end of 2012

ARM China headquarter in Shanghai

Preferred start date:
As soon as possible/1st September
